Dr. Trenette Clark Goings

Dr. Goings is currently the principal investigator of “Substance Use Trajectories and Health Outcomes of Monoracial and Biracial Blacks,” a 5-year research project funded by the National Institutes of Health. She has published nearly 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and her articles have appeared in high-impact journals in her field such as Drug & Alcohol Dependence, Addictive Behaviors, and Health Psychology.
She currently serves as Assistant Editor for the journal Ethnicity and Health and has served as consulting editor or ad-hoc reviewer for several journals. She is the recipient of the 2015 Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) Deborah K. Padgett Early Career Achievement Award.
