Miranda Manzanares, MSW

Miranda is the Research Project Coordinator for Global Social Development Innovations (GSDI) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Social Work. She manages and coordinates the implementation of GSDI’s work. Miranda is passionate about youth development work and strongly believes in youth inclusion throughout all phases of research.

She demonstrates experience in working with marginalized populations across school and community settings through her experience in program evaluation at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Population Health Institute as well as past involvement with a non-profit health and sustainable development organization, Global Brigades, in Nicaragua and Panama. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Science focused in neurobiology, psychology and global health from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
