Full working paper that investigates the differential impacts of the opportunity to open savings accounts on the youth in the treatment schools of the Ghana Experiment to understand whether and how outcomes differed based on youth characteristics (such as age, gender, grade level or environmental characteristics such as location, household living conditions, or household wealth) and YSA-related behaviors (e.g., opening an account and depositing savings). This investigation begins to address issues of how resilient youth can be in the face of challenging intra-personal, household, or societal risk factors, to inform the development of youth development and livelihoods programming toward optimal results.
