Mathias Zimba is the Founder and Executive Director for Rising Fountains Development Program (RFDP) in Zambia. He has more than 15 Years’ work experience in Managerial Positions, both in International and Local Organizations. In addition to his current position he has worked with Micro Bankers Trust – Zambia as a Micro Finance Specialist in the EU Funded Project for the Reduction of Poverty (PROP) and as Team Leader in the IFAD Funded Rural Finance Project (RFP).

He has also worked as Project Manager with RFDP Project for the Reduction of Maternal Mortality (PROMM) and worked with LWF/World Service as a Project Officer He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Studies from the Information and Communications University (ICU-Zambia).

He has published a paper in the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Development entitled “The Impact of Micro Finance in Zambia, Case of Chipata Residents” (www.allsubjectjournal.com   Volume 3; Issue 7; July 2016; Page No.  47 – 52)
