Dr. Mimi Chapman


Mimi ChapmanMimi Chapman is a Professor at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Social Work. Her current work focuses on incorporating new immigrants into schools and health care settings through working with helping professionals who serve them. In addition, she is the Principal Investigator on an initiative aimed to understand whether and how the performing arts can decrease anti-Islamic bias among college students. Since 2008, she has been working in Shanghai with Chinese collaborators to understand the impact of in-country migration on parents through community-engaged scholarship.
