Exploring Community Resilience & Health Across Populations in Low- and Middle-Income Countries

Event Description: This event will feature a panel of researchers whose work focuses on enhancing the capabilities of diverse populations to build their resilience and achieve positive health outcomes. Through this event, we will explore key components of community resilience, examine models/theories/approaches used in building resilience, and learn how research findings have moved into actionable steps for building resilience. Additionally, we will explore the connections between individual-level and community resilience across populations in LMICs.

Objectives:  

1. To examine researcher’s roles in examining community resilience in order to support positive health outcomes and health-seeking behaviors among populations in LMICs.
2. To explore and discuss best practices that lead to improved community-level health resilience capacities.
